Contemporary Pole Company

by Emotions Studio

Six-Month Artistic Development Program

Overview

The Contemporary Pole Company is a six-month ensemble-based artistic development program for dancers and pole artists who want to deepen their technical foundation while exploring embodiment and artistic research in order to develop a personal movement language and artistic voice.

At Emotions Studio, we believe that strong technique and authentic expression belong together.
Technique creates safety, clarity and confidence. From this foundation, flow, creativity and emotional depth can emerge.

This program is not a regular drop-in class.
It is a long-term, process-based journey within a fixed ensemble, where artistic growth, consistency and community are central.

The intention behind the program

The Contemporary Pole Company was created to offer a space where dancers can:

– train technique with intention and depth
– develop a strong sense of embodiment and body awareness
– explore contemporary movement and flow
– experiment, research and ask artistic questions
– find their own movement qualities instead of copying shapes
– work within a supportive group process
– experience what it means to create together over time

The focus lies not only on the final performance, but on the artistic journey itself.

Who this program is for
For dancers and pole artists with a solid technical base who are ready for a long-term, committed process. You should be comfortable with basic pole technique, enjoy creative exploration, and be open to contemporary movement and improvisation. Professional performance experience is not required—curiosity and commitment matter most.
